Futuristic Timekeeping:

Unveiling the Urwerk UR-112 Aggregat

The Urwerk UR-112 Aggregat is one of the most expensive models from Urwerk, featuring a unique longitudinal bi-star wheel structure. When its protective cover is closed, the watch resembles an anti-tank device, with its matte coating and flat titanium alloy surface exuding a sense of mechanics and oppression. Once the cover is opened, it transforms into a futuristic satellite-like device.

This watch is an exceptional piece, with titanium alloy planetary gears enabling a super jumping hour mechanism. The power for the jumping hour is derived from the minute’s progression. At the 60-minute mark, the energy accumulated over 3,600 seconds is instantaneously released, propelling the next hour’s numeral into view.

Despite its complex interior, which houses eight titanium alloy planetary gears, the UR-112 is extremely comfortable to wear, weighing only 25.2 grams. Its entire power system relies on universal joints, horizontally spanning the area between the second hand and the power reserve display, transmitting power needed for the jumping hour, minute, and second. It jumps every 5 minutes, akin to a mechanical page-turning display clock, and it’s incredibly cool.
